VESSOUL // HOW IT WORKS

A trust transaction, in four moves.

Identity, envelope, compute, verify. Every interaction on Vessoul flows through the same four-step cycle — the protocol's only opinion is that trust must be earned, not asserted.

01

Issue

A holder generates a sovereign identity rooted in a hardware-bound key. No issuer. No registrar. The identity exists the moment the key does.

02

Envelope

Data is wrapped in a policy envelope — consent, scope, expiry — signed at the moment of creation. The envelope and the data are now inseparable.

03

Compute

Operations run inside verifiable compute zones. Inputs stay private; outputs carry a zero-knowledge attestation of correctness.

04

Verify

Any party — auditor, regulator, counterparty — verifies the result against the substrate end to end, in milliseconds, without needing to trust the operator.

End to end, in under 400ms.

The full cycle — issue, envelope, compute, verify — completes in under 400 milliseconds at the 99th percentile. Verification alone is sub-5ms, which means audits run in real time, not after the fact.
